By the way...

Did I mention that it's beyond cold here? It's been consistently in the negatives all week. This am it was -18. Tomorrow is supposed to be colder.

And here's something interesting. Only 8 states have banned the selling of recalled items. And those states do not include Wisconsin, Iowa or Colorado (Josh & Anne)... and apparently, Wal-Mart has a policy of continuing to sell recalled items (such as toys and bibs with high lead content). Nice eh?

Silly pics

Just thought I would share some silly pictures with everyone...

If you look close you can see that Duncan and Beatrice have opposite ends of the ladder in their mouths! Duncan rolled his truck over for her to play with him, and she just leaned over and put her mouth on the ladder - he thought it looked like a good idea.

Duncan somehow managed to squeeze his little legs between the playyard and the couch. What a goofball.
I guess this one isn't silly - but it's cute.

Maria is still pretty glued to the internet these days. She's been busy watching any and every movie she can online! And I let her do a myspace page so that she can keep in touch with her cousins...

She finished 4th in her spelling bee at school today! She's really a great speller! She made it to the school-wide spelling bee last year too.

Trip to QC part 2 :)

We all had a great time in the QC! Even though it was bitter cold!! It was maybe -2 there, which amazingly felt colder than the -20 weather up here! It was about -20 here shortly after we got home. Luckily the weather was great for our trip home (except for the coldness of course).

Got some good pictures while we were there. Unfortunately my camera never made it out of my purse at Fay's house! :( I made sure to hunt it up and take it there! And then I got so busy visiting that I didn't get it out to take any pics :(

I've been trying for 2 days now to post a bunch of new pictures... but apparently blogger is experiencing some issues ~ probably just when I'm trying to post pictures ;)
Anyway, I was able to get two of them loaded up, so here they are...

Beatrice Likes her new Gym :)

Duncan and Beatrice have been doing a lot of hanging out together lately. She thinks he's hysterically funny - even when he's not doing anything! Here they are checking out one of his cars.

I have a bunch more with these two - of course we haven't seen a whole lot of Maria since we got the computer hooked up with the internet upstairs ;) I was surprised when she asked to play the gamecube this morning... so she was actually hanging out with us most of the day...

Duncan started doing this at dinner last night - and I wished I would have jumped up and got the video camera, but then he started doing it again at lunch today :) Hilarious!
